Photos I've Collected

Everyone knows that I am pretty much addicted to blogs. What you may or may not know is that I "read" them pretty quickly, because most of the time I am just looking for pictures of home decor to collect (or fonts. That is another post in the making).

So because I have some cool photos and also because I am missing my camera cord (misplaced in Utah?), I would like to share some of my collection with you.

So here is the collection of my very most favorite home decor images. Enjoy!

First of all, color inspiration:

Turquoise-blue,

midnight-blue,

ice-blue, and

a POP of fuschia!
Next, patterns and textures:

Grey-on-black stripes and next to the old brown and black leather,

lightly antiqued painted furniture,

and nested fish-scale patterns.

I have always loved graceful tree-like shapes:

Believe me when I say I'm tempted to paint our armoire white with a tree silhouette on it.

Finally, I love, love, love old gadgets and industrial themes:

This is technically a new-years decor photo, but I love the eclectic clock collection.

Lightbulbs make me happy!

More happy light bulbs.

The longer I collect these pictures, the more I feel my personal style develops. It has certainly changed over the past year. I keep a perpetually-changing free Flickr.com account where I upload all of my favorite photos. What are your personal design themes?
