I believe that our blog deserves to have a NEWS FLASH!! Afterall, what good is a blog if it doesn't at least mention the important events in the authors' lives?
This last Saturday, Amy finally had her baby! Hallaluja, we all say. :) A relief to have pregnancy over, and a relief to finally have that little boy here for us to love.
Late Friday night, Amy started feeling contractions, and realized that this was it -- it was the real deal. So Amy and Marc packed up for a long wait at the hospital. They got there, and only a few hours later (to everyone's suprise), it was over.

At 12:54 am, Saturday, June 20th, little Ethan Marc Fuentes was born into the world, weighing 7 pounds, 4.4 ounces. He was perfectly healthy, with a load of dark hair, measuring 21 inches.
Of course, Grandma and Aunts were super excited, and rushed over that morning to meet him. What a beautiful little boy!
Amy was absolutely glowing. She didn't use an epideral, and is very happy. She is recovering wonderfully, and their little family is ready to go make some wonderful memories! Well, maybe when Ethan gets a little older...for now, he will just sleep. :)
(P.S. This gives Amy a great excuse if she posts late this time. So we'll forgive her.)
I could stare at this post all day. I sure would love more pictures of Ethan as he grows!
